CLICK CLACK

In a small town of Georgia there was an old man who had no legs. The only way he could move around was by dragging himself around by his long, long, nails. He was also a killer. He would sneak around the town and kill people with his long, long, nails. So, because of this, the people were ordered to go inside at exactly 6:00 pm and lock their doors until he was caught.

One night a little girl asked her mom if she could go play at her friends house. The mother looked at the clock, it was 4:00pm. She told the little girl to be home by 5:45 because thats when "click-click" came out. The little girl agreed and was on her way. She played and played but lost track of time because when she headed home, it was already 5:48. By the time she was close to her home it was 6:00 pm. She observed people locking their doors and calling in there kids.

"Shoot, I'd better run" she thought. Finally she reached her street. But that's when she heard the noise...click click drag click click drag. It got louder and louder. She turned around and there he was, Click-Clack! She ran to her front door...click clack drag click clack drag... She pounded on the door but her Mother had fallen asleep...Click Clack Drag Click Clack Drag... The pounding stopped.

Upon waking, and forgetting that her daughter had gone out to play the last evening, Mother opened the door to get her newspaper. She screamed in horror at the sight. Written on the step in blood was, "Mother, why didn't you open the door?" She was never seen again...

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SWEAR

Jane and Margerette were best friends since the first grade. They had never even gotten into a fight. And now they were both 12 years old.

"Hey, Jane?"Margerette said one day at a sleepover."Yeah?"Jane said."You know how we swore we'd always be friends for the rest of eternity?"she said."Sure" "Well, we can't be friends for the rest of eternity if we die at different times. We have to both be in heaven at same time." she stated."Sure, but how are we going to do that?"Jane asked."Well, we have to both swear that if one of us goes to heaven, we have to go the same day." Margerette said. "Ok, lets say it together."she said. They both planned out an oath and said it together."I solemnly swear, that the day one of us goes to heaven the other one must too. If we forget then the other shall remind us." They both swore.

A year later Margerette was in the hospital for a sudden illness and ended up dying. Jane was so depressed about it that she burnt all of their pictures. That afternoon she thought she heard someone say,"Jane, come up with me, you swore, YOU SWORE!!!" She ignored it though, but then she kept hearing," I solemnly swear, that the day one of us goes to heaven the other one must too." But she tried to forget, she was definately NOT going to end her life that day.

After dinner she was doing the dishes when she heard someone saying,"Jane, come up with me, You swore,YOU-" "Stop!!!!"Jane screamed,"I never swore anything!" After that she kept hearing,"I solemnly swear, that the day one of us goes to heaven the other one must too." She knew she had sworn that, but of course she didn't really mean it.... She didn't think that Margerette was going to come back....

In her bed she kept hearing someone shout,"Jane, come up with me, you swore, YOU SWORE!!!" Finally she couldn't take it and yelled,"There's no way I was really going to kill myself!" Then she heard a whisper right by her, in Margerette's voice saying, "Jane, come up with me, you swore, YOU SWORE!!! and if you won't come on your own, I'll bring you with me...." There was then a scream, and her mom ran upstairs to see what happened. She saw blood stains and a shattered skull, but no body,

MOTHER'S LOVE

One afternoon, a couple was travelling on by car when at a far distance they saw a woman in the middle of the road, waving frantically.

The wife told her husband to keep on driving because it might be too dangerous, but the husband decided to pass by slowly so he wouldn't stay with the doubt on his mind of what might have happened and the chances of anyone being hurt. As they got closer, they noticed a woman with cuts and bruises on her face as well as on her arms. They then decide to stop and see if they could be of any help.

The cut and bruised woman was begging for help telling them that she had been in a car accident and that her husband and son, a new born baby, were still inside the car which was in a deep ditch. She told them that the husband was already dead but that her baby seemed to still be alive.

The husband that was traveling decided to get down and try to rescue the baby and he asked the hurt woman to stay with his wife inside the their car. When he got down he noticed two people in the front seats of the car but he didn't pay any attention to it and took out the baby quickly and got up to take the baby to it's mother. When he got up, he didn't see the mother anywhere so he asked his wife where she had gone. She told him that the woman followed him back to the crashed car.

When the husband went back to look for her, he noticed that clearly the couple in the front seats were dead, one of whom was unmistakeably the woman who had flagged them down.

GLOOMY SUNDAY(HUNGARIAN SUICIDE SONG)

" Gloomy Sunday" is a song composed by
Hungarian pianist and composer Rezső
Seress and published in 1933, as "Vége a
világnak" ("End of the world"). [1] Lyrics
were written by László Jávor , and in his
version the song was retitled " Szomorú
vasárnap " (Hungarian
pronunciation: [ˈsomoruː ˈvɒʃaːrnɒp] ) ("Sad
Sunday"). The song was first recorded in
Hungarian by Pál Kalmár in 1935.
"Gloomy Sunday" was first recorded in
English by Hal Kemp in 1936, with lyrics by
Sam M. Lewis, and was recorded the
same year by Paul Robeson , with lyrics by
Desmond Carter. It became well known
throughout much of the English-speaking
world after the release of a version by Billie
Holiday in 1941. Lewis's lyrics referred to
suicide, and the record label described it as
the "Hungarian Suicide Song". There is a
recurring urban legend that claims that
many people committed suicide with this
song playing.
<p>
URBAN LEGENDS
There have been several urban legends
regarding the song over the years, mostly
involving it being allegedly connected with
various numbers of suicides, and radio
networks reacting by purportedly banning
the song. However, most of these claims
are unsubstantiated.
Press reports in the 1930s associated at
least 19 suicides, both in Hungary and
America, with "Gloomy Sunday",
but most of the deaths supposedly linked to
it are difficult to verify. The urban legend
appears to be, for the most part, simply an
embellishment of the high number of
Hungarian suicides that occurred in the
decade when the song was composed due to
other factors such as famine and poverty.
No studies have drawn a clear link between
the song and suicide.
In January 1968, some 35 years after
writing the song, its composer Rezső Seress
did commit suicide. He survived jumping
out of a window in Budapest, but later in
the hospital choked himself to death with a
wire.
The BBC banned Billie Holiday's version of
the song from being broadcast, as being
detrimental to wartime morale, but allowed
performances of instrumental versions.
However, there is little evidence of any
other radio bans; the BBC's ban was lifted
by 2002.

MISS MINA

The Story Behind The Legend: A long time ago, probably around the early 1900s, there was a little girl. Her name was Mina and she had blonde hair and blue eyes. She was about ten years old and never left her room without her favorite little porcelain doll. She was loved by mostly everyone because she was so sweet and cute.

One day, a priest came to the city she lived in. He was from another country but no one really knew where. He was in his mid 30's and he kind of creeped everybody out a little bit. One day Mina decided that she was not going to be scared of him anymore. She looked up at him and smiled sweetly. "Hi.." she said "My name's Mina". He looked down at her. "Hello Miss Mina. My name is Viktor" he said to her. He knelt down to her level. "Have you been saying your prayers lately?" he asked. She was scared now because Viktor spoke with a gargling hiss to his voice and was sinister anyway. The scary part was that Mina secretly thought that all of this praying and worshiping was sort of silly. She believed in God, but she wanted more to play than to pray. "I must go" she said "Mother is calling". She lied. Her parents were both gone, she lived with her older siblings.

One night, her older brother and sister left her at home while they went to go visit a friend for an hour or two. When they came home, she was lying in her room, dead. She had been choked and her throat was lightly slit. She was still holding her little doll. Her killer was never found, but many believe that it was Viktor, the new priest. There was no evidence to prove that it was him, but who else could it have been, anyway?

The Legend: Legend has it that if you sit in a dark room, with all the lights turned off, she will appear . But there are certain steps you have to follow. Sit in the middle of the floor. Hold a doll (or a stuffed animal, whatever works) under your arm, and say "Miss Mina!" seven times. Some say that Mina will appear holding her doll under her arm. She will have hand prints on her upper neck and a scar around her lower neck. She is wearing a black and white dress and sometimes, it is said that if you are really lucky, She will appear holding Viktor's bloody hand, as he stands next to her. Sometimes you will only hear a noise, and some people can hear a scream. But I warn you not to do it, you might be Viktor's next victim.

THE CHOKING DOBERMAN

My cousin and his wife lived in Sydney with this huge doberman in a little apartment off Maroubra Road. One night they went out for dinner and a spot of clubbing. By the time they got home it was late and my cousin was more than a little drunk. They got in the door and were greeted by the dog choking to death in the loungeroom.

My cousin just fainted, but his wife rang the veterinarian, who was an old family friend of hers, and got her to agree to meet her at the surgery. The wife drives over and drops off the dog, but decides that she'd better go home and get her hubby into bed.

She gets home and finally slaps my cousin into consciousness, but he's still drunk. It takes her almost half an hour to get him up the stairs, and then the phone rings. She's tempted to just leave it, but she decides that it must be important or they wouldn't be ringing that late at night. As soon as she picks up the phone, she hears the vet's voice screaming out:

"Thank God I got you in time! Leave the house! Now! No time to explain!" Then the vet hangs up.

Because she's such an old family friend, the wife trusts her, and so she starts getting the hubby down the stairs and out of the house. By the time they've made it all the way out, the police are outside. They rush up the front stairs past the couple and into the house, but my cousin's wife still doesn't have a clue what's going on.

The vet shows up and says, "Have they got him? Have they got him?"

"Have they got who?" says the wife, starting to get really pissed off.

"Well, I found out what the dog was choking on –it was a human finger."

Just then the police drag out a dirty, stubbly man who is bleeding profusely from one hand. "Hey Sarge," one of them yells. "We found him in the bedroom."

LLORONA-OMEN OF DEATH

They say that the Llorona was once a poor young girl who loved a rich nobleman, and together they had three children. The girl wished to marry the nobleman, but he refused her. He told her that he might have considered marrying her if she had not born the three out-of-wedlock children, which he considered a disgrace. The girl was determined to have the nobleman for her own, so she drowned her children to prove her love to him. But still he would have none of her and married another. Mad with grief, the girl walked along the river, weeping and calling for her children. But they were gone. So she drowned herself. For her crime, her spirit was condemned to wander the waterways, weeping and searching for her children until the end of time. It was said that whenever the wailing woman appears, someone will die.

Now I have heard that one night, two young men were car-pooling home from work with the windows down when they heard a terrible wail. It sounded like the desperate cry of a baby or perhaps an injured tom-cat. Beside the road, a white mist began to gather. It moved swiftly among a grove of palm trees and when it reached the largest tree, it became the figure of a lovely young girl dressed all in white. Long dark hair hung loose down her back. She began to weep and wring her hands in agony, and the men realized that they were seeing the ghost of the Llorona. The driver gunned the engine and they drove away as fast as they could. The glowing figure of the Llorona remained visible in the rear-view mirror until the car turned the corner.

The men were upset by the vision, afraid that the rumors about the Llorona might be true. But nothing happened to either of them the rest of that night, so they laughed away the incident, deciding that they had imagined the whole thing.

The next night, the men were riding home from work when their front tire burst at the place in the road where they had seen the ghost the previous night. The car spun out of control and hit the largest tree in the palm grove in the exact place where the Llorona had appeared to them. Both men were killed instantly.
